Welcome to Congregation Shaarey Zedek
Request a Prayer
It is Jewish tradition that when someone is ill, we say a "misheberach" for him or her.
Simply put, a Misheberach is a prayer for the sick. Many people believe that physical and spiritual healing progresses faster when someone prays for you. Misheberach's are recited during the torah service, which is typically held on Shabbat and festivals.
For those of you who are unable to make it to a synagogue for torah services, we offer a way to help you express your wishes for good health and a speedy recovery to your friends and relatives.
