Hurricane Dorian Relief Effort
I was surprised to learn that the Bahamas have a Chabad presence, and in the face of the devastating effects of Hurricane Dorian, there are relief efforts spearheaded by the Chabad rabbi in the community.
If you can donate anything to help with the aid and rebuilding effort, please visit the special donations page set up for this disaster.
Students should have a voice
Several months ago, shortly after redesigning our website, I made an announcement that plans were underway to provide a forum for the Jewish students at the University of Windsor to get more involved with generating website content geared towards students. In addition to the University's Jewish Student Association, which caters to all Jewish students, my goal is to have this website serve as a "destination" for those students who want to be more involved with Chabad and the Orthodox community.
I am seeking a University of Windsor student to volunteer his or her time as a co-ordinator, article author, and editor; and who is willing to help develop a forum for Orthodox Jewish students. With guidance and assistance from our Rabbi, I would like to see this website become responsive to the educational and social needs of the Orthodox student community of Windsor.
If you are interested in applying for this volunteer position, please write me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. stating your qualifications and ideas on how you would use this opportunity to serve the local community.
