What is a Misheberach?

Simply put, a Misheberach is a prayer for the sick.  Many people believe that physical and spiritual healing progresses faster when someone prays for you.  Misheberach's are recited during the torah service, which is typically held on Shabbat and festivals.

For those of you who are unable to make it to a synagogue for torah services, we offer a way to help you express your wishes for good health and a speedy recovery to your friends and relatives.

How does the Request-A-Prayer Service work?

  1. For your protection, registration for this free service is mandatory.
  2. Registration requests are confirmed by email, to ensure that requests actually came from you.
  3. Your registration information and prayer requests are kept confidential.  A completely automated process submits your prayer requests directly to our rabbi.
