If you walk down Main Street, you’ll notice two hairdressing salons very close to one another. One salon is owned by Cyril and the other by Monty. They have been bitter rivals for years. One morning, as Cyril opens up his shop, he notices that Monty has put a big sign in his window saying:

WE’RE PLEASED TO BE ABLE TO OFFER YOU AN $8 HAIRCUT

Not to be outdone, Cyril puts up a sign in his window. His sign says:
